Handmade Leather Guitar Straps

Our Handmade Leather Guitar Straps are each as unique, durable and each a representation of the creativity and magic that exists in the Wayuu Indigenous Group's artistic traditions.

Each Handmade Leather Guitar Strap starts with a woven pattern, made by a Wayuu artisan living in La Guajira region of Colombia, and obtained through Fair Trade standards by Hands of Colombia. If you're unfamiliar with the Wayuu Indigenous Group, this women-led Tribe located in Colombia and Venezuela has a tradition of weaving and crocheting that spans generations.

We then work with a family-run leather shop to create the leather designs and produce our leather guitar straps in small-batches.
